The Threadlift facelift is a newer nonsurgical alternative to a facelift that has patients in and out the door with improved appearances. Referred to as the lunchtime facelift, the procedure draws no blood and offers subtle and natural results. Using a needle, tiny threads used in plastic surgery are inserted under the tissues of the face with a thin needle. The teeth on one end grab and lift the sagging skin, and the teeth on the other end anchor the skin to the rest of the facial tissues without needing incisions, stitches or leaving any scars.

Threadlift facelifts are not for everybody, mainly used to lift the brows, cheeks, jowls and neck. The technique is quickly becoming the facelift of the times amongst younger, busy people that want subtle “preventative" procedures without having to take time to achieve it. Facelifts used to be associated to a major surgical procedure that required a long recovery period and surgical risks in order to look good, but now patients can enjoy an improved appearance within a matter of minutes.
